It will scan the system, mostly registry to find all programs that are installed on the system. If you are having trouble installing the program, select Installing. The troubleshooter has a wizard that can walk you through the process. It’s a diagnosis tool that helps you automatically repair issues when you’re blocked from installing or removing programs. The fix, believe it or not, is called The Program Install and Uninstall Troubleshooter that you download right from Microsoft website. The setup wizard just ended before it even got started. I was having trouble installing this program that was installed but got uninstalled before.
